John Kennedy, BA is an information technology professional, business owner, and technology consultant with more than 20 years of experience designing, securing, and managing technology systems for businesses and organizations. He is the President and founder of Forge IT Consulting, providing managed IT services and technology consulting to small businesses and home users.

John specializes in systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, server management, and technology planning. Through Forge IT Consulting, he manages more than 200 clients and nearly 400 endpoints, helping businesses implement practical technology solutions aligned with their operational needs, security requirements, and long-term goals. His approach emphasizes responsive service, trusted relationships, and individualized technology strategies.

Before founding Forge IT Consulting, John spent more than 12 years as a Senior Systems Engineer with RemoteWorks, managing complex technology environments and large-scale projects. His experience includes Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware and Hyper-V virtualization, AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, network and firewall architecture, data security, backup systems, and business continuity planning.

Earlier in his career, John served as an Information Systems Manager for a nurse staffing company, where he managed corporate infrastructure, conducted data risk analyses, developed security policies, and supported regulatory accreditation efforts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oklahoma and certifications as a Sophos Certified Administrator and Sophos Certified Engineer.
